The Topcon GPT-8200 Series total stations take the next step in the evolution of servo motor technology. Combining the latest servo motor and reflectorless pulse laser technology to provide the ultimate in surveying functionality and productivity. The 8200 series can be used in Auto-Tracking mode with one person at the gun. The rod person is automatically locked on by the gun. The instrument person simply hooks the data collector to the 8200 series and collects the shots as the rod person walks the site. In fully robotic mode the system can be operated quickly and easily by one person. The advantages of this system are numerous. One man operation eliminates the instrument person and allows for fast and accurate data collection and stakeout.

Large LCD Graphic Display - The GPT-8000 Series has two backlit LED displays. Each display is 240 x 80 pixels for easy reading.
PCMCIA Card System - Data files can be stored on a standard PCMCIA card. Available card sizes are 256k, 512k or 1 megabyte.
TDS Application Software - Tripod data systems popular Survey Pro software can be installed on-board the GPT-8200 Series for data collection and stakeout.
